#whatever – Members’ Exhibit 2025

Welcome to #whatever, an exhibition that celebrates the boundless creativity of PVA’s member artists. In a world where hashtags shape our experiences and social media blurs the lines between personal and public, this show invites artists to explore the endless possibilities of self-expression, free from any specific theme or constraint.
To enter, please complete and submit the Intent to Participate Form at the bottom of the page or download the PDF and send to hedwig@pvarts.org by Monday, November 25. You will be accepted into the show after that date, however; we must have your information by Monday, December 2 in order for you to be listed on the announcement.
IMPORTANT EXHIBIT DATES:
Monday, November 25 – Final date to submit “intent” in order to appear on the postcard
Wednesday, November 27 – Loan forms sent out
Friday, December 20 – Loan forms due at PVA
Saturday, January 4 – Deliver artwork: 4:00pm-7:00pm (No late entries will be accepted)
Wednesday, January 15 – Exhibit opens
Sunday, January 19 – Opening reception: 2:00pm-4:00pm
Sunday, February 23 – Exhibit Closes – Pick up artwork: 4:00pm-6:00pm (No early pick up)
EXHIBIT GUIDELINES:
- You may enter one piece, which must be for sale and fits the theme.
- Your piece may not be larger than 24” wide, or is heavier than 40 pounds. Please contact Wendy Aikin if you have special installation needs, wendy_aikin@yahoo.com
- If your piece is in multiples (diptych or triptych) they must be sold as one piece.
- If it exceeds width or weight limits there may be an installation fee.
- Ceiling installations are not possible.
- All framed pieces must be wired and ready to hang, with wire no higher than 2” from the inside bottom of the top of the frame (see photo).
Poetry: Size restrictions apply. Poetry must be ready to hang. Framing would be ideal, however you may choose to dry mount it on foam core or mat board. Font size should be large enough for a viewer to read it up to two feet away (arms length) 14-16 point font.
Publicity: For publicity purposes, email a 300dpi Jpeg of your piece (no larger than 4”x 6”). E-mail should include your name, phone number, medium, title and dimensions of the work. The jpegs should be titled with your last name and the name of the piece. Please email to: Hedwig Heerschop, hedwig@pvarts.org
Gallery Store: We invite you to bring in two bin pieces for sale in the Gallery Store, at the same time you bring in your artwork. These pieces need to have a mat/backing board inside a clear sleeve. The sleeves must have a label with the name of the artist, the piece, and the price (under $200 please).
