Process Painting is an expressive arts technique and a means of self-exploration. It focuses on process (inner journey) rather than on product (the painting) and it does not require that participants have any prior experience with art. It is a method for learning about oneself, and a way to connect with one’s innate source of creativity. The process helps us contact our inner blocks to creativity and develop trust in ourselves and in the moment. With expanded self-awareness we gain confidence in our unique unfolding, leading us to more self-acceptance and a quieting of the inner critic. We then can play, have fun, invent, and take risks on the canvas. In a supportive and encouraging environment you will have an opportunity to connect with your intuitive inner voice, playfulness, and with additional freedom of self-expression.
Anyone interested in exploring creativity is welcome.
