Mi Casa es Tu Casa 2026
Paths of Remembrance | Caminos de Recuerdo invites us to reflect on the many ways we remember, honor, and stay connected to those who came before us.
Rooted in the traditions of Día de los Muertos, this year’s exhibition brings together artwork, community altars and ofrendas, storytelling, and cultural traditions that honor ancestors, loved ones, and the memories that continue to shape our lives.
Across generations, remembrance travels many paths—through family stories, treasured objects, photographs, songs, recipes, rituals, altars, and ofrendas. These pathways connect us to our histories and help us understand who we are and where we come from.
At the heart of Mi Casa es Tu Casa is the idea that remembrance is not simply about looking to the past. It is a living practice—one that keeps memories, traditions, and connections present in our everyday lives.
We invite you to explore the exhibition, share in the stories and traditions represented, and reflect on the people and memories that continue to live on in your own life.
