    Location: PVA Porter Building, 280 Main Street

    Intro to Figure Drawing is a program focused on figure drawing, giving greater accessibility and foundation into an art career for adults local to the Central Coast.

    Participants will learn to articulate the elements of art and principles of design intuitively by studying the figure and use the language of design to communicate intent, solve ideas and have practical techniques to apply in their own work.

    About the Instructor

    Lisa Lopez is a local artist with a love of figure drawing. She’s worked on different projects in her community as an art teacher for children/ young adults since returning back home to the central coast after earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts at California State University Long Beach. She is currently developing her work to pursue graduate school. Working in both charcoal and digital tools her focus is capturing the figure with energetic lines.
