PVA is proud to present Wearable Stories, a fashion show featuring 20 of Rachel D. Clark original designs. Coats of many colors, stories and histories will be modeled at the Wearable Stories Fashion Show. Rachel will speak about each piece’s inspiration, story and elements. Wearable Stories will take place on Saturday, October 1, 1:00 – 3:30PM in the courtyard at Pajaro Valley Arts, 37 Sudden Street, Watsonville, CA.
Rachel D.K. Clark is a contemporary folk artist, teacher and lecturer who comes from a long line of sewers, beginning with her great-grandmother. She has been creating wearable art since 1973 and teaching on the national circuit since 1990. Eclectic fabric mixes, vibrant designs and a keen sense of humor and storytelling characterize Rachel’s work.
