In a world where hashtags shape our experiences and social media blurs the lines between personal and public, this show invites artists to explore the endless possibilities of self-expression, free from any specific theme or constraint.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To enter, please complete and submit the Intent to Participate Form at the bottom of the page or <a href=\"https:\/\/pvarts.org\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Call-Members-exhibit-2025-Fillable-form.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/pvarts.org\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Call-Members-exhibit-2025-Fillable-form.pdf\">download the PDF<\/a> and send to <a href=\"mailto:hedwig@pvarts.org\">hedwig@pvarts.org<\/a> by Monday, November 25. <\/strong>You will be accepted into the show after that date, however; we must have your information by Monday, December 2 in order for you to be listed on the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IMPORTANT EXHIBIT DATES: <\/strong><br>Monday, November 25 &#8211; Final date to submit \u201cintent\u201d in order to appear on the postcard <br>Wednesday, November 27 &#8211; Loan forms sent out <br>Friday, December 20 &#8211; Loan forms due at PVA <br>Saturday, January 4 &#8211; Deliver artwork: 4:00pm-7:00pm (No late entries will be accepted) <br>Wednesday, January 15 &#8211; Exhibit opens <br>Sunday, January 19 &#8211; Opening reception: 2:00pm-4:00pm <br>Sunday, February 23 &#8211; Exhibit Closes &#8211; Pick up artwork: 4:00pm-6:00pm (No early pick up)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EXHIBIT GUIDELINES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You may enter <strong>one piece, which must be for sale<\/strong> and fits the theme. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your piece may not be larger than 24\u201d wide, or is heavier than 40 pounds. Poetry must be ready to hang. Framing would be ideal, however you may choose to dry mount it on foam core or mat board. Font size should be large enough for a viewer to read it up to two feet away (arms length) 14-16 point font. <br><strong>Publicity:<\/strong> For publicity purposes, email a 300dpi Jpeg of your piece (no larger than 4\u201dx 6\u201d). E-mail should include your name, phone number, medium, title and dimensions of the work. The jpegs should be titled with your last name and the name of the piece. These pieces need to have a mat\/backing board inside a clear sleeve.
