In 8 sessions, this program will cover solid techniques to record the human form in good habit. With the use of art models, and the advantage of a professional environment, participants will be able to practice and explore their drawing process through the figure. Following the art masters, drawing the human figure, is a period of study beneficial for artists at any skill level.

- Smooth Newsprint Paper (loose or pad)
- Charcoal
- Kneaded Eraser
- Drawing board 23 x 26 with clips
About the Instructor
Lisa Lopez is a teaching artist working throughout the Central Coast with all ages to play and expand their knowledge in visual arts. In addition to figure drawing, her experience includes teaching stop motion animation to 4th graders, leading an arts summer internship for high school students in collaboration with ESTA/ CSUMB, and instructing private art lessons. She returned home to Salinas after earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts from California State University Long Beach. Lisa’s joy resides inside the studio, drawing and capturing movement through energetic lines.
